IBC commercial spec
Code-compliant rise/run, IBC handrail height, 4-inch sphere clearance, graspable handrail profile. Plan-review-ready CAD on day 1.
Stair-tower packages for apartment buildings, condos, and mixed-use across the Lehigh Valley and Northern NJ. IBC commercial rise/run, code-compliant 4-inch sphere clearance, bulk crated delivery sequenced to your floor build-out.

For multi-family and apartment projects, Snyder fabricates stair-tower packages to IBC commercial spec — code rise/run and the 4-inch sphere clearance — built as a repeating stack and bulk-crated by floor. Delivery is sequenced to your floor build-out so one floor's stairs never hold up the stack.

Multi-family is repeatable but unforgiving — one floor's worth of code issues delays the whole stack. We build the stack once and crate by floor.

We crate each floor's stair package as one unit. Your GC opens floor 2's crate when floor 2 is framed; no warehousing on your end.
Lead time is 8 weeks for the first floor, then floors deliver on a 2–3-week rolling cadence as your concrete + framing schedule allows.
Our own crew that fabricated floor 1 fabricates floor 12. Nothing farmed out, no quality drift between floors, no callback confusion.
Send us your architectural + structural set. We red-line the stair-tower pages, confirm IBC compliance, and quote per-floor pricing within 5 business days.
Plan / elevation / section drawings delivered on contract. City plan-reviewer sees the same set as your structural engineer.
First floor's stair package fabricated in 8 weeks. Subsequent floors batch on a 2–3-week rolling cadence as concrete + framing top out.
Each floor's stair package crated and labeled (Floor 2, Floor 3, etc). Your GC opens the right crate at the right elevation.
Install lives with your trim crew. We're on the phone for floors 1–3 to dial in pattern; on site for a walk-through at topping-out.
Most trade work ships crated for your framing or trim crew to set. Here is how the two paths compare so you can plan the schedule.
Yes — up to 8 stories within our shop's clear-bay capacity. Above 8 we sub-assemble in our shop and final-stack on site with your GC's crane.
The architectural ones. We build interior wood-tread stair towers and the railing — lobby and amenity-level stairs, plus the wood-tread runs and railing in the units. Structural steel + concrete-filled egress towers are a separate trade; your steel sub handles those and we coordinate around them.
We carry PA license PA042691 and work in Northern NJ as well. We coordinate with your GC's local sub-license requirements on a per-project basis — send us the job and we'll confirm what's needed.
Locked per-floor pricing means structural changes (different rise/run) trigger a re-quote. Aesthetic changes (different baluster pattern, different finish color) are absorbed if requested in the first 4 floors. Past floor 4 we re-quote.
Two full product catalogs — wood and iron. Flip through the whole line, mark what you like, and bring it to your first call.
