Questions homeowners ask
The answers, before you even call.
We hear these every week. Here's exactly how it works — straight answers, no sales pitch.
We give you a real budget range on the very first call — before we ever come out. No sales meeting, no pressure. We'll tell you what doesn't need doing, so you only spend where it counts. Most railing and tread projects land in a few thousand; full custom stairs run higher. You'll know the ballpark in one phone call.

From a Phillipsburg garage to the Lehigh Valley's stair specialists.
The Snyder family started building stairs in a two-car garage in Phillipsburg, NJ in 1987. The first jobs came by word of mouth — a neighbor's center-hall colonial, a contractor who needed box stairs for a project. From the start it was the same idea it is now: quality work, friendly service, and a fair price.
Through the nineties the shop outgrew the garage and moved to a larger space in Easton, PA. The Snyder sons came up in the trade from the ground floor — carrying lumber, running the table saw, learning to read a floor plan and turn it into a working stair. In 2008 the shop moved home to Whitehall, PA, where it sits today. As the Lehigh Valley shifted from new construction toward remodels, railing renovations became a bigger and bigger part of the work.
