Laminated curved stringers
Bent on our shop jigs from solid stock, not veneered over MDF. The stringer holds its shape for the life of the home.
Laminated curved stringers bent on our jigs, assembled and fitted in-house, with over-the-post handrails and volutes sourced and coped to fit. Curved and circular staircases for custom builders in the Lehigh Valley and the Route 78 NJ corridor — eight to twelve weeks in our Whitehall shop, four days on site with your trim crew.

For custom builders, Snyder builds curved and circular staircases in-house — laminated curved stringers bent on our shop jigs, assembled and fitted, with sourced over-the-post handrails and volutes coped to fit. Built in walnut, mahogany, or white oak over an 8-12 week shop window, crated and delivered for your trim crew to install in about four days.

Most stair shops ship their curved work to a regional fab. We do the laminating, the assembly, and the over-the-post joinery in our own shop — sourcing the shaped handrail and volute parts and coping them to fit. Our own crew on every project.

Volutes, easings, and over-the-post transitions are sourced and coped to fit by our own crew, every project — joined so the handrail flows as one continuous line.
White oak, walnut, mahogany, sapele, hard maple. We source figured stock for grand-foyer projects and book-match where the design calls for it.

Yes — we ship in two or three segments and assemble in the foyer. Largest segment fits through a standard 36" opening. We sequence the install so your finished trim isn't compromised.
Two full product catalogs — wood and iron. Flip through the whole line, mark what you like, and bring it to your first call.
