The story
Modern white oak, satin-black iron. This railing remodel runs natural white oak everywhere the hand touches — handrail, box newels, treads — with a single thin round iron baluster pattern in satin black keeping the look light.
The oak is finished in its natural tone to sit flush with the floors, white risers and skirt boards underneath. Square-capped box newels anchor each turn of the rail, up through the second-floor balcony.
Every wood part was cut and fit in our Whitehall shop.
